Physiotherapy for Riders
Flexibility from Stability - Improve your Balance and Your Riding Performance
As a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience in musculoskeletal health, I offer Physiotherapy for Riders that’s tailored specifically for the needs of equestrians. Whether you’re a beginner rider or a competitive athlete, my goal is to make your body as stable yet flexible as possible, enabling you and your horse to move in harmony.
Riders face unique challenges due to the demands of riding—posture, muscle imbalances, and repetitive movements leading to ingrained movement patterns can all impact your performance and wellbeing. Through a combination of tailored physiotherapy and training techniques, we can work to improve your strength, flexibility, and overall biomechanics. Working on the ground on your own body helps retrain learned movement patterns helping you progress instead of repeat.
What We Offer:
Personalized Assessments: Comprehensive assessments help identify physical limitations or areas for improvement, whether it’s posture, core stability, muscle function, or movement patterns.
Tailored Physiotherapy Plans: Treatments and exercises designed to enhance your performance, prevent injuries, and improve your comfort and control while riding.
Ongoing Support: We provide continuous guidance and adjustments to your physiotherapy plan to ensure long-term progress and stability.
