Equine Experience
Lindsey has been involved in barefoot trimming for over 20 years and has trimmed her own horses for 12 years under guidance. She offers thoughtful, evidence-informed hoof care.
Her equestrian journey has taken her hunting, racing, young stock production in Ireland, and even a season working in the USA. She has competed in British Eventing and supported her children’s Pony Club teams at the highest levels—including National Championships.
She currently owns and manages a herd of seven equines, ranging from 11hh to 17hh—including beloved former Pony Club ponies now out on loan. She also retrains and rehabilitates ex-racehorses as part of the RoR programme—an area of real passion.
Human Physiotherapy
In addition to her equine work, Lindsey is a qualified human physiotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal treatment. Through Rider Physiotherapy, she help riders improve balance, mobility, and effectiveness in the saddle—making your body fit for purpose, whether you're riding for pleasure or performance.
Riding & Coaching
As a lifelong rider, Lindsey actively trains with Tracy Harmer and continues to build her knowledge and feel in the saddle. She earned her BHS Stage 3 at Gleneagles (Captain Mark Phillips Equestrian Centre) and has trained with William Micklem, Ian Stark, Lucinda Green, and others.
Her varied experience includes riding in point-to-point yards (including with the Waltons, Peter Monteith, and Jim Frost), and exploring a range of equestrian disciplines—from eventing and dressage to vaulting, Western, and carriage driving.
